CHURCH MINISTRIES
(1)
Church School
will be the basic organizations for the Bible teaching program. Its
tasks will be to
teach the biblical revelation, reach persons for Christ
and church membership, perform the functions of the church within its
constituency, provide and interpret information regarding the work of
the church
and denomination. The Church School will be organized by
departments and classes, as
appropriate for all ages and will be under
the direction of the Superintendent.
(2) Women's Ministry: The Women Ministry concentrates on Mission
education, mission action, and mission support ministries
of the church
will be an integral part of all church programs. The focus Will be to
teach.
(3) Music Ministry, The Music Ministry under the direction of the
Minister of Music/Music Director will
be the music training and
presentation ministry for the purpose of promoting worship in the
church. Its tasks
will be to provide appropriate music for a worship
services and outreach ministry of the church
and to provide appropriate
training in music. Each choir will have an elected president and other
officers working with the musicians. The NEB Choirs are as follows

(4) Ushers Ministry, The Ushers shall be volunteers. The ushers
are to greet people as they
enter and leave the church; seat people at
the proper time provide bulletins and other materials
at the time of
seating. The ushers will be attentive to the needs of the congregation
and the pastor.

(5)The Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) / BTU / Children’s Church
shall provide a Spiritual
environment so our Youth can grow in the
knowledge of the Lord, by means of Spiritual activities, teaching
of the
bible, and outside activities.
(6) Men's Ministry, There shall be a Men's Ministry with such
organizations as needed. This Men's program
shall be directed by a
president and shall meet weekly. The tasks are to teach missions
and
engage in mission actions.
(7) Prayer Ministry, The prayer ministry shall be organized and
functional. Prayer meeting shall be
held each Wednesday Night.
(8) Married Couples Ministry: The Married Couples Ministry's
sole responsibility is to cater to married couples of the church.
Special Seminars are scheduled throughout the year facilitated by the
Pastor and his Wife with emphases on the proliferation
of the unit of
marriage.
(9) The Paul &
Timothy
Ministry:
The Paul & Timothy Ministry serves as a Christian mentoring agent for
the
young boys and men of New El Bethel headed by the Men’s Ministry.
(10) Master Key / Roof Top Ministry: Master Key is an Outreach
group focused on the rehabilitation of the incarcerated and their
families through scripture and prayer. The Roof Top Ministry is a
dedicated group of believers who provided assistance to individuals with
dependency issues. This group provides a Christ-centered 12 step
recovery and mentoring program for
New El Bethel members and others who
require their services.
(11) Singles: The Singles Ministry is a group of unmarried
individual who come together to share
commonalities and support each
other through the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit.
(12) Widows
Ministry: The Widows Ministry is a special group of individuals
whose spouse(s) have gone
on to Glory. This group mentors each other
through bible teaching, outings, activities, etc.
(13) The Journey:
The Journey is an inspiring group of young people ages 18 – 30
something. The main
focus of this group is Christian growth.
(14) Benevolence
Ministry: The Benevolence Committee shall recommend the amount and
frequency of assistance, which the church may provide, to NEB
individuals or families. They shall locate church members and community
persons who can
provide appropriate assistance to our members. Formulate
the recommended policies related to providing flowers for sick
and
bereaved members. Secure and provide flower arrangements for the sick
and the bereaved. This group shall make
reports to the church that
respects the confidentiality of persons receiving assistance.
(15) Culinary
Ministry: Plan church food functions and smoothly execute their
plan.
(16) Graduation /
Scholarship Ministry: This ministry caters to the graduating senior
of high school, and
higher learning institutions. This ministry
fulfills scholarships, both book and tuition to deserving students.
(17)
Fine
Arts Ministry;
This Ministry is a
group of theatrical Christian dancers glorifying God through
the art of
dance and mime. This Ministry includes the following groups:

(18) Activities Committee The responsibilities of the Activities
Committee are as follows:
Plan the Pastor's Appreciation Program and Church Anniversary.
(19)
Kitchen Committee: The functions of this committee are as follows:
Maintain the function
of the kitchen and fellowship. Stock the kitchen
with utensils. Maintain an inventory of items.
Coordinate with the
Benevolence Committee by stocking items necessary for their use.
(20) Member to Member
(M2) The responsibilities incumbent on this
ministry is to minister to the New El Bethel Baptist Church Members who
have been missing from service.
(21) Evangelism : Members
witnessing to others about Jesus Christ our Savior. |
