Worshipper, wife, mother, pastor’s wife, speaker, and teacher are a few of the hats that Savitri Brown wears.  God has been gracious and has anointed her to do them all.

 Savitri Lovette (Burns) Brown, was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and lived in Arcadia, Louisiana until the age of 5.  Her family relocated to Terrell, Texas where she completed her education through the Terrell Independent School District.  As a child growing up in Terrell, Sis. Brown accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 17.  This acceptance came as Rev. C.B.T. Smith preached a sermon entitled “A Chance of a Lifetime”. As Savitri grew spiritually, she realized that God wanted to use her in more ways, namely teaching and speaking.  She has spoken at Women’s Conferences, Workshops, and Sunday Church programs all in the mighty name of Jesus.

Her marriage has spanned approximately 20 years, and her sons, Drew, Josh, and Caleb are the jewels in her crown.  Savitri received her professional education in Elementary Education. For the past years she has worked as a 4^th grade teacher.

Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”  Her favorite song is “His Eye is on the Sparrow”.  One of her favorite sayings is “Things are always alright in the end.  If it’s not alright, then it’s not the end.”

Her life’s goal is to lead a life that glorifies God, and to have all women come to know that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
