Welcome to
New El Bethel Baptist Church WEB Site
Greetings
Peace and blessings to you! Welcome to the website for the New El
Bethel Baptist Church. I hope and pray
that this site will minister you in any way you need it to. I pray
that it will be an avenue for information, inspiration and
edification.
As a part of the body of
Christ in this community and this world our purpose is to exalt the
Savior through worship, encourage and equip the saints through
worship and discipleship, and evangelize the sinner through personal
and corporate mission and evangelism.
Our vision is to be a
paradigm or model of the early church in Acts chapter 2, that being:
a powerful, preaching, praying, praising, paying church, and a
church with purpose. As you view this site my hope is that you will
observe our mission and vision being implemented in various
ministries.
If you are ever in the
Dallas area consider this a personal invitation to visit NEB. You
will find the church telephone number and address listed on the
site. You can experience God in a personal way either at our 8 a.m.
"Early Morning Experience," 9:25 Sunday Morning Church School, and
at the 11 a.m. "Mountain Top Experience" services. You will find NEB
to be a place where you are welcomed, a place that is growing and
yet maintaining a "down-home" atmosphere, and a place where you can
meet God and allow God to transform your life! I invite you to come
and experience Him personally.
Finally, if you visit the church or not, I hope that you have
accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Remember, "God so loved the
world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) God
loves you! I look forward to seeing you soon!

Text: Genesis 7:1, 16, 23
Subject: All Aboard; Safety in the Ark
Introduction :
The account of the great flood holds many
spirituallessons for the Christian today, for this story
parallels the spiritual condition of our generation and
gives us a glimpse of not only God’s judgment, but also
His grace.
There were only ten generations from Adam to Noah.
Think about it;only ten generations from the point when
God created man perfectlyand in “His image”, until he
became so corrupt...that, when God looked down he saw;
“.....that every imagination of the thoughts of men’s
hearts were only evil continually. ”(Gen. 6:5) Only ten
generations until the Creator of the earth and of man
knew that He had to destroy them both. The account of
the Great Flood is one that tells the story of both
great wrath......and yet, of even greater mercy.
And notice that two chapters of Genesis were devoted to
creation, and two to the fall of man.....but four
chapters were devoted to the flood. What does that
mean? well, I guess it means that there is definitely
more to this event besides the fact that the animals
went on the ark two by two and seven by two. You see,
there is a very important message interwoven into this
story that we all need to take a closer look at. The
intent
of this message
is encourage someone who is out of the “ark of safety”
to get on board with Christ; and to remind the saints of
the eternal safety we have by being in Christ |
